3 hurt in shooting incidents

BACOLOD City – Three persons were injured in separate shooting incidents in Negros Occidental last Tuesday.

In E.B. Magalona town, Pablito Limbang Jr., 45, of Barangay Nanca was wounded after he was allegedly shot by 33-year-old Teody Cube at the said village.

Police investigation indicated that Limbang was talking to his wife in front of their house when Cube approached and shot victim with an improvised shotgun.

The victim was wounded on his right arm and right buttocks.

The suspect fled, bringing with him the firearm he used in the crime, while the victim was taken to a private hospital here.

In Moises Padilla town, Ronie Bartolo, 28, of Barangay Magallon Cadre was also injured after he was reportedly attacked by unidentified armed men on his way to his mother’s house at the said village.

The victim was hit in his back and was taken into a hospital here.

Police recovered from the scene two live ammunitions of a 12-gauge shotgun.

In Kabankalan City, Aladin Guillepa, 24, of Barangay Tan-awan also suffered gunshot injuries after four unidentified persons allegedly tried to rob his house.

A report from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), said the armed robbers clad in camouflage uniforms and wearing facemasks went to the victim’s house and tried to open the door, but they failed.

One of the suspects was reportedly shouting and demanding the victim to open the door, and later fired his firearm towards the house, police records showed.

As a result, Guillepa was hit on his right leg and was taken to a hospital. The perpetrators fled.
