BACOLOD City – Three persons, including a minor were shot to death by three unidentified men on a motorcycle at Barangay Banga, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental last October 17.

Killed were Heide Rio, 60, Richard Billalos, 29, both residents of Bayawan City; and John Anthony Bormelado, 17, of Tanjay City.

According to a report from Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo), the victims were riding a motorcycle on their way home when they were shot by the assailants who were tailing them past 9 p.m.

The victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds and fell from their motorcycle.

Two of the gunmen disembarked from their motorcycle and fired their guns again at the victims several times.

Then they fled, leaving the three victims, who were later found lying at the roadside.

The three victims were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared dead.

Police recovered from the scene nine fired cartridge of .45-caliber ammunition, their motorcycle, a bag with two cellular phones, and P900 cash.

Police have yet to identify the perpetrators and establish the motive of the incident.
