Lito Adiwang walked his talk and opened up 2021 with a bang after scoring a convincing second-round knockout win against Namiki Kawahara at ONE: Unstoppable in Singapore.

Eager to get back in the winning column after a disappointing ending to his 2020, Adiwang was way more aggressive than his Japanese foe and landed one shot after another.

Since the beginning of January, Adiwang was very expressive on how he wanted to get back to his winning ways and was already expecting a knockout victory ahead of the fight.

Adiwang showed no mercy every time he cut the distance between him and Kawahara and unleashed his power in the middle part of the first round.

As soon as the second round started, Adiwang and his camp already knew what to do and did not hesitate to hound the Japanese while waiting for the opportunity to unleash vicious shots.

At exactly the 3:00 mark of the second round, Adiwang unloaded a perfectly-timed left hook that hit Kawahara straight to the jaw which earned him the victory.

Adiwang improved to an impressive 11-3 record while Kawahara dropped to 7-3-2.

“We’ve been through a lot. To my family, I love you so much. This is for you, mama,” Adiwang said.
