Three riders carted away around P20,000 cash after robbing a micro gas station in Cabatuan, Iloilo late afternoon of October 8.
The three suspects alighted from the motorcycle when they had it filled up at RT Gasoline Station in Barangay Ayaman, Cabatuan.
The female gas attendant thought that one of the men pulled out his wallet to pay.
But instead of paying, the man pulled a gun and declared a robbery.
Captain Dionisio Estacio, police chief, said there were four persons at the gasoline station at the time of the incident.
Footage from a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) showed that the employees were made to sit with their backs to the fuel dispenser.
One of the suspects then went to the cashier’s booth and took their earnings.
Another CCTV footage showed that the robber was picking up some coins after it fell to the floor.
The suspects then boarded the motorcycle and sped in the direction of Janiuay town.
The employees were not able to get a glimpse of their faces as they were either wearing a protective helmet, a face mask, or a bonnet.
Estacio said they already have persons of interest but declined to elaborate further.
It was gathered that the same gasoline station was also ransacked on Feb. 15, 2023.
There were four suspects who were all minors at the time of the incident. Only one was identified.
The suspects were able to steal P46,000.
A case was filed in court.
