On July 25, 2022, BotiCARD Inc. opened its doors to the municipality of Agoo in La Union. This expansion is in line with the pharmacy’s goal of reaching more communities to provide access to quality products and services. This is the 13th branch of BotiCARD Inc. in the country.
“Breaking the poverty cycle includes improving the health and wellness of people as well as supplying them with the quality of products and services that they need. This is BotiCARD’s contribution to CARD MRI’s mission which is to eradicate poverty.” said BotiCARD President Rosenda Aquino.
People living in the area now has access to affordable generic medicines. Basic health supplies, products for hygiene purposes, selected supplements, and other products that are typically found in a pharmacy are also available. While promoting generic medicine is the pharmacy’s primary aim, branded medicines are also available for purchase. With health and wellness of the communities in and nearby Agoo on top of the institution’s mind, BotiCARD also provided free medical check-up for those who attended the branch opening.
“Generic medicines are with the same dose, quality, and effectiveness as their brand-name counterparts, but in a lower price that most individuals can afford,” Aquino explains. BotiCARD La Union branch is located in Cases Blvd, Sta Barbara 2504, Agoo, La Union.
