Two teenagers were arrested for allegedly attempting to kill another teenager in Molo, Iloilo City afternoon of Dec 9, 2021.

The suspects were identified as Wil (not his real name), 15, of Barangay San Jose, Molo, and

Justine Taday, 19, of Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district.

Wil was arrested more than an hour after the mauling and stabbing episode that injured a certain Josh, 14, of Barangay West Habog-Habog, Molo.

Taday was arrested in a hot pursuit operation while he and his father were walking at a subdivision in Barangay Guzman Jesena, Mandurriao.

Prior to the incident, Josh and his two friends decided to go for a walk at Esplanade II in Barangay Tap-oc, Molo around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

Josh’s friend, Hannah, claimed that a group of young men accosted them.

Wil allegedly asked Josh if the latter knew him.

When Josh said no, the group punched and later stabbed him.

Josh suffered a stab injury on his chest and was taken to the nearby The Medical City.

Wil was already turned over to the Women and Children’s Desk for proper disposition of his case.

Taday, on the other hand, is detained at the lock-up cell of Molo Police Station pending the filing of charges against him.
