Calatrava town tops list of COVID cases in Negros Occ.

BACOLOD City – The town of Calatrava has the greatest number of COVID-19 cases in the province of Negros Occidental with 22 as of Monday.

Data from the provincial Inter-Agency Task Group against the coronavirus disease 2019 indicated that the province has 268 cases so far.

145 are active cases and 123 are recoveries. The data also includes 169 males and 99 females. 34 patients are symptomatic while 234 are asymptomatic.

Seventy four percent of these cases are Locally Stranded Individuals at 192, Overseas Filipino Workers-39, domestic-20, frontliners-10, Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR)-3, imported case (domestic)-2, imported case (foreign)-1.

Other towns and cities in the province and their corresponding cases are: Sagay-19, Escalante-17, Himamaylan-17, San Carlos City-16, Bago City-16, Talisay City-14, Cadiz City-13, Hinobaan-12, La Castellana-11, Silay City-11, Binalbagan-10, Cauayan-10, Manapla-9, Sipalay City-9, Murcia-8, La Carlota City-7, Victorias City-7, Toboso-5, EB Magalona-5, Moises Padilla-4, Kabankalan City-3, San Enrique -3, Valladolid-2, Isabela-2, Pulupandan-2 and one case each for Salvador Benedicto, Ilog and  Candoni.

Bacolod City has 78 Covid cases as of Monday (22 active, 52 recoveries, and 4 fatalities).
