Calvin Abueva continues to give back to the community amid the ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since opening his new restaurant, Dampa Ni The Beast, and recognizing the effects of COVID-19 to the public, the Phoenix Fuel Masters All-Star forward decided to give food packs to frontliners.

Abueva’s first beneficiaries were the tricycle and trisikad drivers near his restaurant, saying that thes drivers deserve to receive food from his because they have no stable income after they were placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

As of now, Abueva already donated food packs to people stationed in checkpoints in Pasig, San Juan, Quezon City, and also to the 103rd Military Barracks in Brgy. Magtanggol, Pateros.

In collaboration with the Fuel Master’s relief operations, The Beast and his PBA squad were also able to give food packs to Ospital ng Makati and the New Bilibid Prison Hospital in Muntinlupa.
