BACOLOD City – Police are looking into old grudges as possible motive that triggered a man to kill a construction worker in Barangay Villamonte here last Friday.
Police identified the victim as Danilo Rogero, 43, of the said village.
Investigation disclosed that witnesses saw Rogero running and seeking help after he was stabbed by an unidentified man.
He then fell to the ground after suffering from a stab wound in the neck.
Police Major Jun Ray Batadlan, head of Police Station 4, told Aksyon Radyo Bacolod that the suspect might have grudges against the victim, whom he suspected to have stolen his cellular phone.
Police said they already have a person of interest.
