Cops seize P204,000 ‘shabu’ from couple, two others

BACOLOD City – Four persons, including a couple, were arrested in separate buy-bust operations that led to the seizure of P204,000 worth of suspected shabu in Negros Occidental last Wednesday.

In Binalbagan town, Edwardo Ondon Jr., 39, of Barangay San Vicente, was apprehended at Barangay San Jose after police seized from him 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000.

Police Major Jerald Muya, head of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), said that Ondon is top 2 in the drug priority list of the town.

He is also a street level individual, according to the police.

In Silay City, a couple was arrested with seven grams of suspected shabu worth P47,600 in Barangay Mambulac.

Police identified one of the suspects as Gerardo Gelisanga, 32, of Barangay Pahanocoy here, and his 22-year-old live-in partner, a resident of Talisay City.

A 42-year-old man was also arrested in the neighboring town of E.B. Magalona following the confiscation of three grams of suspected shabu worth P20,400.
