CSC’s computerized exam center in Capiz breaks ground

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— The provincial government here on Wednesday held the groundbreaking ceremony of the first Computerized Examination Center (CEC) building of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) at Brgy. Lanot here.

The provincial government contributed P5 million to the P13-million building. The third floor will serve as the venue for the CEC transaction.

“We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Governor Esteban Evan Nonoy Contreras as this is a legacy that you will share to the upcoming and present public servants,” CSC Regional Director Nelsom G. Sarmiento said.

He said the CEC is the first to be constructed in the whole Philippines.

The groundbreaking coincided with the 101st anniversary of the CSC.
