DTI partners with JobStreet to boost job market, offers free job ads for MSMEs nationwide

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has partnered with leading online job portal JobStreet to aid in business recovery and bring more opportunities to local micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide.

Under the DTI Negosyo Center, MSMEs are entitled to free job posting credits on JobStreet platform through its Lite Ad feature, allowing over 120,000 DTI-registered enterprises to have a larger pool of jobseekers on their job offers. This also opens new opportunities for candidates who are looking for jobs during the pandemic.

As dedicated business partners, DTI and JobStreet will also execute webinars among registered MSMEs by early 2022. Through these virtual trainings, hirers could learn more about attracting the right candidate, optimizing the hiring process, engaging the workforce, and more.

“We’re honored that the DTI has trusted our company in this timely program for our MSMEs that were really affected by the pandemic. We hope that this initiative will be of great help to many businesses as they recover from the situation; JobStreet is always here to assist them in finding the right employees and promoting jobs that matter,” said JobStreet Philippines Country Manager Philip Gioca.

“The DTI and our Negosyo Center have always been dedicated to strengthening our MSME sector. We thank JobStreet for working with us in this meaningful initiative and for supporting us with our goal of empowering more MSMEs through our bayanihan amidst this situation,” shared DTI – Bureau of SME Development Director Jerry T. Clavesillas.

Envisioning a job for every Filipino, JobStreet has always been supportive of and partnering with the public sector to boost the labor market. Some notable projects were the Government Virtual Career Fairs, partnership with the Pasig LGU, among others.
