Filipino Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) legend Eduard Folayang became the latest addition to the stacked fight card of ONE Fighting Championship’s 10th Anniversary special.

The former world champion was scheduled to fight against John Wayne Parr in a highly-anticipated crossover matchup between two highly regarded MMA fighting disciplines.

Folayang will be carrying his signature wushu fighting style that brought him to the top of ONE while Parr will fight using his Muay Thai technique.

This will be another chance for the Filipino superstar to bounce back and redeem himself after only winning one fight against Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu during his last six meetings.

Despite retirement talks surrounding Folayang, the former two-time ONE lightweight champion of the world said he still has many years left and is eager to make another run for the title.

However, the road back to the top will not be easy for Folayang as he still needs to re-establish his winning record in the stacked division.

Meanwhile, Parr is famous for his effective and technical striking using Muay Thai and is expected to bring fireworks in his fight against Folayang.

Parr is no stranger to ONE’s big stages after becoming a 10-time world champion and was the most dominant fighter way back in 2011 in the World Kickboxing Federation.

The Folayang-Parr clash will be an undercard to the Demetrius Johnson-Rodtang Jitmuangnon main event on March 26, 2022.
