Today marked the end of an era for the winningest Filipino Dota 2 team, the TNC Predator.
In a shocking statement, TNC Predator announced it is letting go of its full roster which stunned everyone not only in the Filipino Dota 2 community but the entire world.
The TNC Predator management announced that all members of its roster will be free agents this coming The International (TI) including their star players’ Gabby, Tims, and Armel.
Bannering the Philippines for almost five years, the trio already brought numerous international championships from the Southeast Asia circuits to Europe.
“It’s been quite the journey these past three to four years, especially with Tims, Armel and Gabbi. TNC has broken several barriers and overcame many obstacles during this period, and we are grateful to have had such talented players spearheading the growth of Philippine esports on a global scale,” opened TNC.
To recall, TNC first earned the respect of the international community during The International 6 when the Filipinos ousted defending champs OG.
The lineup of KuKu, Demon, Raven, Eyyou, and Sam crushed the formidable squad led by Dota great Miracle last 2016 and immediately built their name as the giant slayers of the sport.
After their magical run in TI6, TNC immediately established themselves as one of the top contenders of Dota 2 and rolled since then.
“We would like to formally announce that the full roster of TNC Predator will be free agents on September 15, 2021. The organization and its players have discussed in terms of individual growth and have come to an agreement that this would be the best decision moving forward,” wrote TNC in their official statement.
