BACOLOD City – A minor reshuffling of four town police chiefs was implemented in Negros Occidental last week to give way for the career advancement of other commissioned officers.

The revamp affected Police Captains Hancel Lumandaz, chief of Moises Padilla Municipal Police Station; Ellendie Rebusquillo, chief of Toboso Municipal Police Station; Rhojn Darell Nigos, chief of Pontevedra Municipal Police Station; and Ronald Santillan, chief of Candoni Municipal Police Station.

Lumandaz was moved to Pontevedra town while his post was taken over by Police Captain Randy Babor from the 2nd company of Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Rebusquillo’s post went to Police Lieutenant Paul Kenneth Magan from the provincial police headquarters.

Santillan’s replacement was Police Captain Junji Liba from Nocppo headquarters.
Police Colonel Romy Palgue, Nocppo director, said the change of command can be considered as an opportunity for police officers to do their best.

“Opportunity in the sense that you will be able to show what is best in you and the people around you,” Palgue said.

He said those who will undergo career advancement are still welcome anytime to return to Negros to share their learnings for better service in the province.
