BACOLOD CITY – Service company Grab on Oct 22, 2019 launched Grab Food at L’Fisher Hotel here.

Grab Philippines Head EJ Dela Vega said the launch is in time for the celebration of the MassKara Festival.

Dela Vega said the introduction of Grab Food in Bacolod further cement its position as the number one food delivery platform with the largest operations in the Philippines.

Dela Vega also said that less than a year since its launch, Grab Food has already expanded in 35 cities nationwide.

To celebrate MassKara Festival  this year, Grab is introducing Grab Food in Bacolod in a bid to banner the excellent  culinary scene promote local entrepreneurs and enable Negrenses to do  more and  get  their favorite food where and when they want it.

“As the leading super app in the Philippines, our mission is to elevate the lives of Filipinos by solving daily limitations and addressing their most basic needs” Dela Vega said.

“In 2015, we came to Bacolod to help address transportation issues and have since become an indispensable part of Negrenses’ daily commute. We now take the challenge of improving access to great food and bringing move livelihood opportunities for the people of Bacolod through Grab Food.”

Joann Yoshida, Grab Philippines’ operations lead in Western Visayas, said that food delivery is a natural extension of Grab’s transport services.

“Bringing this service is part of our commitment to transform Bacolod into a smarter city powered by Grab” Yoshida added.
