BACOLOD City – The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) here urged its partner agencies, members and pensioners to use the digital platforms in transacting with the agency.

“In line with our continuing effort to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees and clients, the GSIS Bacolod Branch Office is requesting our partner agencies to transact online effective July 28 until further notice, to prevent the spread of COVID 19 while some of our employees are under quarantine who had close contact with a COVID positive patient,” according to a press release from the state-run insurer.

GSIS will observe a minimized or no contact policy, thus, transactions will be entertained mainly through online via email.

Claims and loan applications shall be submitted online or through designated drop boxes in the office with selected transactions to be entertained by appointment.

Members and partner agencies are also encouraged to pay their monthly remittance Payment Thru Bank (PTB) option, five days before the cut-off of the agency payment to avoid penalties, the press release said.

For individual payments, the agency encourages members to pay thru the nearest authorized Bayad Centers. The list is found on the GSIS website www.gsis.gov.ph.

The state fund insurance aims to provide the uninterrupted public service delivery via online platforms through gsisbacolod@gsis.gov. ph or FB Messenger, Lesu Bac Gsis, for Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR).

GSIS can also be reached thru mobile number 09288284760, PLDT Landline (034) 444-0982 and Globe Landline (034) 704-1832 for the schedule of appointment. (GSIS Bacolod/PIA)
