The Province of Guimaras, through the Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of the Provincial Development Council (PDC), will be celebrating the first ever Guimaras Data Festival: the 35th National Statistics Month Celebration this October 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
This month-long event will have various activities that will promote the value of data and statistics in local governance, foster appreciation of evidence-based decision-making, elevate data literacy, and improve the data ecosystem in the province of Guimaras.
This is the commitment of the PSC to upscale the statistical system of the province and engage the academe, government and non-government partners, and the community in data-driven decisions.
