ICTSI dominates investor poll for top PH companies

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has been recognized as one of the Philippines’ premier publicly-listed companies, earning five prestigious awards at the 14th Institutional Investor Poll for Corporates by Alpha Southeast Asia.

ICTSI garnered accolades for its exemplary financial management and governance practices, solidifying its reputation among investors.

The company was honored for having the Most Organized Investor Relations and the Most Consistent Dividend Policy among Philippine firms. It also placed fifth for Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support and Strongest Adherence to Corporate Governance.

Notably, Emilio Manuel V. Pascua, ICTSI’s senior vice president, chief financial officer, and chief risk officer, was named the Philippines’ Best Chief Financial Officer.

“We are proud of this recognition, which reflects our commitment to excellence and transparency in our financial and governance practices,” Pascua said.

The annual Institutional Investor Awards gauge the performance of companies in various aspects, including financial management, adherence to corporate governance, integrated reporting, corporate social responsibility, and investor relations.

This year, more than 582 active investors, pension funds, hedge funds, equity and fixed income brokers, and analysts from across Southeast Asia participated in the poll conducted from January to April 2024.

Alpha Southeast Asia, established in 2007, is the region’s leading investment magazine, focusing on Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The magazine is known for its in-depth reporting on investment trends and corporate performance in these markets.

ICTSI joins 38 other publicly-listed companies in Southeast Asia recognized for their excellence this year. The company’s achievements in investor relations and corporate governance underscore its position as a leader in the Philippine corporate sector.
