After an impressive win against the Imus squad, the Iloilo United Royals will look to continue their winning ways and extend their streak to five against a hot Caloocan Supremos team.
Finding their top form after a series of hardships and character tests, the United Royals are looking to maintain their style of play and remain to be consistent in their efficiency on both ends of the floor.
New addition Jerson Prado proved to be a key piece for Iloilo, as he immediately let his presence felt with his paint defense and mobility.
Coach Eric Gonzales of Iloilo finally found a way to maximize his flexible guard rotation, with JR Parker finding his stride and is now the starting point guard of the United Royals.
Parker has a knack of finding open teammates on the floor giving the team’s shooters the confidence that they will get the ball whenever they work for an open shot.
Caloocan, on the other hand, is also on a three-game winning streak of their own and will fight tooth and nail to keep that streak alive.
A team with a healthy mix of young guns and veterans, the balance that Caloocan possesses allows them to outmaneuver whatever their opponents throw at them.
Explosive guard Thomas Torres and Iloilo’s Parker will surely treat the fans with their speed and quickness.
Caloocan’s Paul Sanga and AJ Mandani, both ex-PBA players, will also give Iloilo a hard test defensively, as both are capable isolation scorers and are tough finishers in the paint..
Whose streak will continue?
