THE 4th edition of Sabores de Visayas gala dinner night had everyone savor special heritage Ilonggo cuisines with modern twists.
The culinary wonders were presented by renowned chefs led by Sabores de Visayas founding chairperson Rafael Jardeleza, Sherwin Tee, Maridel Uygongco, Chell Gonzalez, Sandy Daza along with the chefs of Park Inn by Radisson-Iloilo, Courtyard by Marriott, Hotel Del Rio, Richmonde Hotel, Seda Atria, and Centennial Hotel.
Every creation they presented was always greater than the sum of the local ingredients as it carries with it Ilonggo culinary culture and identity.
This yearly event that centers on Ilonggo delicacies is a joyous one and always ends up as a success with the support of Department of Tourism 6 in an effort to promote our City of Love as a world class food haven in the Philippines.
As DOT-6 Director Helen Catalbas said, “Indeed, nothing brings people together like good food, thus culinary tourism is always more fun in the Philippines!”
