No. 1 overall pick Joshua Munzon is ready to reinforce the Terrafirma Dyip after suffering from an injured right hand five months ago.

Munzon, also the country’s no.1 ranked 3-on-3 player backed by Chooks-to-Go and the PH national team, dazzled in his first four games of the last PBA Philippine Cup.

The long and athletic guard posted monster games in just his rookie season and showed limitless potential in his two-way game.

Terrafirma head coach Johnedel Cardel added that Munzon might already be back in their first game after a long holiday break, one thing that might also benefit him for a longer rest.

Munzon’s addition will provide a huge boost to the team who already lost its newly-acquired superstar guard Alex Cabagnot from the San Miguel Beermen due to an Achilles tear he suffered in their game against the NLEX Road Warriors.

A timetable of at least eight months was already released by the Terrafirma management and their medical experts that would rule Cabagnot out of the whole Governor’s Cup.

“We will recover during this long break so that we can have a good start to the new year,” said coach Cardel.

Despite the shaky start to their banged-up season, Terrafirma had a promising start to the season after notching a win against the talented Rain or Shine team with former NBA veteran Henry Walker as their import.
