Jordan Mintah once again put on a performance for the ages as he carried Kaya FC-Iloilo, leading them to a 3-1 season sweeping victory over Stallion FC Laguna.

With momentum on their side off a dominating win against Mendiola FC, Kaya FC ended their last game against Stallion with style, taking control of both the defensive and offensive aspects of the game.

The previous tightly contested matchups between Kaya and Stallions turned into a drubbing conclusion, with Mintah cashing in two early goals to provide cushion for Kaya FC.

The Stallion defense was broken up numerous times in the opening minutes, as Yannick Tuason cruised past their defense and had a couple of solid attempts.

During the 38th minute mark, Kaya fans from the Aboitiz Pitch in Batangas rose to their feet as Mintah showed flashes of individual brilliance, dribbling the ball from end to end, beating the last line of defense including a beautiful fake that fooled the last Stallion defender to score first blood.

Just four minutes after the first conversion, Mintah then followed up his first with a direct hit to the net off a Jayson Panhay well-placed corner kick.

The Iloilo squad continued to play in high-octane fashion up to the second half and did not stop with their defensive consistency.

Despite the win, The Ceres Negros FC is still hailed champions of the 2019 Philippines Football League due to the wide disparity in statistical points.
