Kaya-FC Iloilo announced the arrival of their newest reinforcement, veteran center back Carlyle Mitchell.

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, the veteran defender started his professional career in 2008 and played in different international football tournaments such as the Major League Soccer (MLS), and different football clubs in India and South Korea.

Also, Mitchell was a former member of the Trinidad and Tobago squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification where he scored the lone goal for his team in a 3-1 loss to Honduras.

Upon the departure of star striker Jordan Mintah, the Kaya FC management has been in search for a player to fill the void Mintah has left.

The acquisition of such talent like Mitchell is a great start in their hopes of regrouping the squad for the next PFL season.

Currently, the Iloilo based squad is preparing for their upcoming Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup competition and will try to end the tournament on a positive note.
