A suspected shoplifter was nabbed again for allegedly trying to steal from a store in Pavia, Iloilo afternoon of August 24, 2021.

Noevie Abilo, 34, of Barangay Mohon, Arevalo, Iloilo City, was arrested once more just eight days after she was also caught in another alleged shoplifting attempt in Dingle town.

Dande Deocampo, 61, security manager of HDH Business Establishment located in Barangay Aganan, Pavia, reported that Abilo took a box of 100-meter TTHN/THWN stranded ROYU wires and cables worth P7,000.

Abilo and her unidentified cohorts went out of the store without paying.

The security guard immediately arrested Abilo, but her companions were quick to evade arrest.

Abilo, along with three others, were arrested on August 16 for the same offense.

Abilo even gave out a fictitious name – Janice Perez of Barangay San Juan, Molo, Iloilo City – to police authorities.

They were caught on CCTV camera.

She was arrested along with Mae Jiz, 24, of Barangay San Juan, Molo.

Also arrested was taxi driver Joseph Francis Paul Apolto, 34, of Barangay South Fundidor, Molo, and Dave Buenafe, 22, of Sta. Cruz, Arevalo.

The suspects immediately posted bail after charges were filed against them.
