BACOLOD City – Jealousy triggered a man to burn the motorcycle of the new lover of his former live-in partner in Barangay Jonob-Jonob, Escalante City, Negros Occidental last Monday.
Police Corporal Seanlin Nueva, investigator of Escalante City Police Station, said the motorcycle owned by 45-year-old Gary Gale of Barangay Langub, was parked in front of his live-in partner’s house, when the suspect identified as Cyril Visitacion, 48, of Barangay Balintawak arrived and allegedly poured gasoline on it.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to Nueva.
Arson charges will be filed against Visitacion, who is still at large.
“Siguro indi niya (Visitacion) mabaton na may bag-o na iya former live-in partner,” Nueva said.
Nueva said that Visitacion and his former lover had a problem and the latter even complained the former with the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD).
He, however, has no idea about the former couple’s problem.
