Filipino rising star boxer Mark Magsayo cannot be stopped and earned his 15th career knockout after demolishing American foe Pablo Cruz in four rounds during their featherweight clash.

Tagged as “PH’s next big thing” in boxing, the young pug wasted no time in letting Cruz feel his power and started to connect as early as the first round.

It was a matter of distance calculation between the two boxers as both Magsayo and Cruz were hesitant to let their guard down and trade punches.

However, in the next round, Magsayo found a perfect opening and hit Cruz with a clean straight punch to score the first knockdown of the match.

With momentum on his side, Magsayo went on the offensive to completely penetrate Cruz’s tight defensive stance.

When the fourth round ticked, the slow and damaged Cruz couldn’t keep up with Magsayo’s pace and got tagged with another vicious straight that led to the fight stoppage.

With the huge victory, Magsayo and head coach Freddie Roach will now be preparing for a possible chance of a title-fight opportunity in the featherweight division.
