Mini-fair brings US universities to Manila

MANILA — EducationUSA, the U.S. government’s official resource for students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the United States, will host a Mini-Fair with seven American universities on Tuesday, September 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.

This free event will provide an opportunity for grade 9 to 12 students to speak directly with admissions representatives from Columbia College Chicago, University of Redlands, University of Montana, Denison University, Miami University, Creighton University, and Michigan State University.

EducationUSA provides free advising services to prospective international students in more than 170 countries, and offers student resources and tools to navigate the Five Steps to U.S. Study: researching schools, financing, completing the application, obtaining a student visa, and preparing for departure.  There are more than 4,500 accredited higher education institutions in the United States and an EducationUSA adviser can help students narrow their options, define their priorities, and plan their college careers.  EducationUSA does not offer scholarships, but can assist students in identifying scholarship and financial assistance opportunities.
