MORE Power deploys Task Force Kapatid to Negros

Twenty-two personnel of MORE Power Iloilo joined Task Force Kapatid of the Department of Energy, National Electrification Administration and PHILRECA, to augment in the restoration works undertaken by the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative due to the devastation of Super Typhoon Odette over the weekend.

The team is composed of Engineers, Line Warriors and Customer Care staff.

They are moving to Negros equipped with the necessary tools and equipment and are prepared to stay for the rest of the holiday season until the job is done.

“It is indeed the season for helping and spreading the love of Christ and MORE POWER is glad and very much honored to be a part of this worthy endeavor since the power system of Iloilo City was completely restored last Saturday,” the power firm said in a statement.

MORE Power recently earned praise for restoring its services in Iloilo City less than 24 hours after typhoon Odette hammered the city last week.
