More than P200K worth of ‘shabu’ seized, 3 nabbed

BACOLOD City – An estimated P210,800 worth of suspected shabu was seized from three persons in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental in the past two days.

In Bacolod, Luis Vincent Lucenio, 22, of Barangay 16 was arrested in the said village last Tuesday after he allegedly yielded 16 grams of suspected shabu worth P108,800, and the P1,000 marked money.

According to Police Lieutenant Joeven Mogato, head of City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU), somebody possibly delivers the contraband to Lucenio. “First time niya nadakpan, wala man siya kaagi tokhang,” he added.

Mogato said that Lucenio is a street level individual. He is detained at Police Station 1.

In La Carlota City, John Michael Virgo, 30, of Barangay RSB, and Niño Cabasag, 32, of Barangay 1 Poblacion were arrested in Barangay 3 Poblacion last Wednesday, for the alleged confiscation of 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, the P1,000 marked money, an improvised tooter, and two lighters.

All three suspects have yet to be reached for comment.
