Napolcom cites Tapaz police as most compliant

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The National Police Commission (Napolcom) hailed the Tapaz municipal police station as the top winner of the Search for the Most Compliant Police Office Award during the conduct of the Inspection, Management Audit  and Monitoring in 2018.

The award handed out during the Napolcom Entrance Briefing at the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) Transformation Hall in Camp Apil here on May 23, 2019.

Napolcom officials headed by Atty.  Rodney C. Zaragoza, acting assistant regional director; and Police Colonel Canilo Fuentes, CPPO director, led the awarding.

Police Captain Edwin B Luces Jr., received the award for the Tapaz police.

Luces has been a consistent Napolcom awardee when he headed the Jamindan Police Station in 2014 and 2015 and the Mambusao Police Station in 2016.

During the awarding, Luces said they won the award because of the teamwork of the Tapaz PNP and the support of local government unit (LGU) headed by Mayor Roberto Palomar and various  stakeholders in the town.

Two other police stations also received same award – Jamindan Police Station (third place) headed by Police Capt. Cherryl Visto, and Sigma Police Station (second place) headed by Capt. Christian Mahometano.
