BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) aims to finish inoculating the 142 remaining unvaccinated personnel by end-September 2021.

This, after Nocppo received an advice from the PNP regional headquarters to complete the vaccination of all personnel by this month according to Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, Nocppo’s public information officer.

Based on the Nocppo record, 37 personnel from the provincial headquarters are still unvaccinated, 7 from the Provincial Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (PPHAU), 3 from Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, 44 from various city police stations, and 51 from various municipal police stations.

But Donasco said there are some minor factors that could delay the vaccination of some personnel.

She said some personnel are pregnant while others just had their anti-rabies vaccination.

The vaccination of these personnel would still depend on the availability of vaccines from the provincial government and the local government units (LGUs).

As of September 7, Nocppo had vaccinated 2,120 personnel against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
