ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The 4th most wanted person in the town of Tapaz, Capiz was arrested Saturday afternoon.
Boyet (real name withheld) was nabbed by the elements of Tapaz Municipal Police Station for the crime of rape.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Judge Judith Orendain Tonogbanua of the Regional Trial Court Executive Branch 20 in Mambusao, Capiz on October 10, 2023.
Police records indicated that Boyet was the top 9th most wanted person in the provincial level. He is presently in the custody of Tapaz Municipal Police Station after he failed to post the P200,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, a farmer from Brgy. San Fernando, Pilar, Capiz was arrested for illegal gun possession Saturday afternoon.
The police recovered from George (real name withheld), a 12-gauge homemade break type pistol with 4 live ammunitions, and 5 live ammunitions for caliber .45 of firearm.
The search warrant was issued by Judge Lorencito B Diaz of RTC Branch 17 in Roxas City, Capiz dated October 19, 2023.
The suspect is presently in the custody of Pilar Municipal Police Station while charges for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) will be filed against him.
