Persons caught in pot session not connected with CapSU

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The three male teachers caught in an alleged pot session are not faculty members of the Capiz State University (CapSU) in Pilar, Capiz.

Dr. Editha Alfon, CapSU president, clarified that Rey Engarcial, 33, of Barangay Pusok Lapu-lapu City; Alvin Kho, 48, of Barangay Kamamalan, Cagayan de Oro City; and Rhandy Tandoy, Jr., 22, of Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City, are not connected with the teaching staff of the state university.

The three were charged Monday morning for use and possession of illegal drugs before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office here.

The police filed charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against the three suspects.

The three were caught in the act while having a pot session in a resort at Barangay Natividad Pilar, Capiz Friday last week.
