PHINMA Education Expands Access to Quality Education with New PHINMA University of Iloilo Building

Building on 20 Years of Commitment to Student Success, PHINMA Education Now Offers More Opportunities for Students in Iloilo and Beyond

PHINMA Education is expanding access to affordable, high-quality education with the new Blanco Building at PHINMA University of Iloilo (PHINMA UI). As student demand grows, maximizing space efficiently has become essential—necessitating vertical expansion to accommodate more learners in Iloilo’s evolving urban landscape.

The upcoming Blanco Building is designed to support the university’s growing community, featuring modern learning spaces and cutting-edge resources that enhance student success.

For many, the additional space is a welcome change.

“Subong, mas maayo na ang learning environment,” said Marian Rose Javier, a second-year AB Psychology student. “Kag ang akon utod nga ma-college next year, mas makasigurado sang accessible kag kwalidad nga edukasyon nga bantog ang PHINMA UI.”

(“Now, I am hoping for a better learning environment. And my younger sibling, who will enter college next year, will now have access to the same high-quality education that PHINMA UI is known for.”)

Meanwhile, PHINMA UI Chief Operating Officer Martin Perez emphasized the university’s commitment to accessibility.

“Unlike older and elite institutions with sprawling campuses, we are building upward to ensure that more students, regardless of background, have access to quality education,” he stated.

This expansion is a step toward a future where education and urban growth go hand in hand. PHINMA Education’s commitment to creating spaces that serve more students while maintaining the city’s cultural and historical character aligns with Iloilo’s long-standing passion for cultural preservation.

As Southeast Asia’s largest higher education network, PHINMA Education continues to expand its diverse academic offerings, including criminology, allied health, business, education, and information technology.

Looking ahead, PHINMA UI’s expansion will continue with buildings along Blanco, Gomez, and Sto. Rosario streets in Iloilo City. Over the next five years, the school looks to add almost 300 classrooms. As PHINMA Education marks two decades of transforming lives through education, it remains committed to empowering students and developing a future-ready workforce in Iloilo and beyond.
