Plant Today for a Greener Tomorrow

The Rotary Club of Bacolod in partnership with Melba’s Farm recently conducted another tree planting activity at Brgy. Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

At least 105 Rotary Club of Bacolod Life Changing officers, members led by President Pauline Cuaycong, Assistant Treasurer Michelle Medrano, Dir. Marjorie Dino, Rotarians Edlyn Agraviador & Emily Cuaycong, Melba’s farm personnels,  Mountain bikers, community volunteers participated in the tree planting activity.

The Tree Planting activity 2021 is a continuing project in line with Rotary’s 7th Area of Focus – “Supporting the Environment” and as part of the Club’s goal to plant as many trees this Rotary Year 2021/2022.

Around 1,000 tree seedlings were planted over the weekend.

The “Plant Today for a Greener Tomorrow” tree planting project is an investment which the Rotary Club of Bacolod will pursue by putting its time and resources into the environment and to touch the lives of the stakeholders and the communities benefitting the said initiative.
