PROPERTY Company of Friends, Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS) on June 19 sealed its partnership with Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD) for the water supply of Parc Regency and serve the needs of over 2,000 families in the community.

The agreement came after close to four years of planning and coordination.

PRO-FRIENDS Senior Executive Vice President Jocelyn Guzman, who was present during the signing, closely monitored the milestones leading toward the agreement and made sure it is realized.

“Parc Regency Residences is already a live community.  After the main pipes were laid out, we needed to plan the rest of the work schedule around the activitities of our homeowners to minimize disruption. We are very happy for our homeowners,” she said.

MIWD OIC General Manager Amarylis Josephine Castro expressed full commitment to the project and stressed its significance.

“Water security is becoming more important given the environmental changes…this partnership will give PRO-FRIENDS projects the water security their residents will need.”

It may be remembered that MIWD also recently entered into a joint venture partnership with Metro Pacific Water to further boost its efforts to provide safe and potable water to Ilonggos. It currently services the water needs of Iloilo City and the municipalities of Pavia, Oton, Maasin, Cabatuan, Sta. Barbara, Leganes, and San Miguel.
