BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Negros Occidental has officially launched its National ID Rehistro Bulilit Campaign, a proactive initiative aimed at delivering National ID services to daycare centers across the province.
The campaign kicked off on September 3, 2024, in Brgy. Punta Taytay, Bacolod City, marking the first of seven scheduled stops in various districts throughout Negros Occidental.
The PSA is focusing on reaching young children, described as the “little seeds of hope,” by visiting daycare centers where children and their families can easily access the services.
“The Rehistro Bulilit Campaign is an important step in making the National ID system more accessible, especially for our younger citizens,” a PSA press statement said.
“This program will ensure that more children are registered at an early age, giving them access to various public services in the future.”
The campaign will continue with the following schedule across different barangays:
- September 6, 2024 – Brgy. Pinaguinpinan, Kabankalan City
- September 13, 2024 – Brgy. Igmaya-an, Don Salvador Benedicto (DSB)
- September 20, 2024 – Brgy. Robles, La Castellana
- September 27, 2024 – Brgy. Colonia Divina, Sagay City
- October 4, 2024 – Brgy. 1, La Carlota City
- October 11, 2024 – Brgy. Consing, EB Magalona
The National ID Rehistro Bulilit Campaign is part of the government’s broader initiative to promote the PhilSys (Philippine Identification System), which seeks to simplify transactions and improve access to public services by creating a unified ID system for all Filipinos.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring this campaign directly to the communities, especially to the young children. Through this, we aim to register as many as we can so they can benefit from the many advantages of having a National ID,” the PSA statement added.
