Another poster urging presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte to run in the upcoming Presidential elections was seen at the town of Sta. Barbara, Iloilo but this time, the tarpaulin was smeared with dirt.

One netizen shared on Facebook the poster of the lady mayor with the words, “Run Sara Run” prominently displayed along the access road of Iloilo International Airport at Bangga Dama in Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

In an interview with EXplainED PH, the netizen who took the photo of the poster, Jem Rosalin, said he first saw the poster clean last March 12 and it was smeared with dirt three days after.

“I captured the photo last March 15. Last March 12, I saw that poster also but it was clean and I think it was just placed there that day or before (I took a picture of it),” Jem Rosalin told EXplainED PH.

Controversial posters of the presidential daughter have sprouted in other parts of Iloilo province, Iloilo City and even reached the province of Antique, roughly more than a year, before the 2022 Presidential elections.

Last week, the tarpaulin of Sara together with Senator Lawrence “Bong” Go was spotted in a public place at San Jose de Buenavista, Antique and in Oton town in Iloilo province where it received mixed reactions from the netizens.

The “Run, Sara, Run” movement supporting the presidential daughter for the upcoming presidential race has been started by different groups. Tarpaulins bearing the same message have sprouted in Iloilo and in other areas around the country.

Sara however, reiterated in recent interviews that for now, she has no plans to run for presidency but teased that her decision might change in the future.
