SSS PCEO bares new programs to Bacolod stakeholders

Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Michael G. Regino (top photo, standing) gave an overview of the various SSS programs during the state agency’s Stakeholders’ Forum held last November 8 at the Acacia Grand Pavilion in Bacolod City.

Regino announced the two new programs that will benefit the informal economy workers–Flexible Payment Schedule for farmers, fisherfolks, and self-employed SSS members in the informal economy; and the Contribution Subsidy Provider Program (CSPP).

The forum also discussed the Workers’ Investment & Savings Program (WISP), a mandatory provident fund which provides safe, convenient, principal-protected, and tax-free individual retirement savings plan for SSS members who are actively paying a monthly salary credit (MSC) that exceeds P20,000.

The SSS Chief also discussed the ongoing digitalization of other SSS programs and services to better serve its members and employers.
