ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) Philippines has fully transitioned to renewable energy, making its data center operations 100% powered by sustainable sources.
The company achieved this milestone through partnerships with Retail Electricity Suppliers (RES) that provide renewable energy or renewable energy certificates. It also implemented innovative energy solutions, including rooftop solar panels for electric vehicle (EV) charging and EV use in its operations.
“Operating on renewable energy is a significant step forward, showcasing our determination to lead the way in sustainability best practices within the data center industry,” said Carlo Malana, president and CEO of STT GDC Philippines.
The shift aligns with Globe Telecom’s science-based net-zero targets and the STT GDC group’s goal of achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2030.
STT GDC Philippines continues to integrate sustainability into its operations through energy-efficient designs, water conservation, and eco-friendly infrastructure, following global standards.
By offering green data centers without compromising performance, the company provides businesses with a sustainable option in digital infrastructure.
