The best NBA 2K players in the Philippines united and formed one of the most formidable squads to try and get the coveted title in the FIBA Esports Open.
Vying against 16 other nations, the PH squad is one of the most highly-anticipated teams, flaunting a 99-overall rating with all of their seven members.
Members that will represent team PH are Rial “Rial” Polog Jr (Shooting Guard), Philippe “Izzo” Alcaraz IV (Center), Clark “Clark” Banzon (Power Forward), Custer “Aguila” Galas (Shooting Guard), Aljon “Shintarou” Cruzin (Point Guard), Rocky “Bak” Braña (Center/Power Foward), and Alt “Alt” Timajo, same positions that Bak plays.
Alcaraz and Polog are no strangers in this stage after ruling the NBA 2K Asia Tournament, while Banzon and Galas were recently invited in the NBA 2K League Asia-Pacific Invitational.
Meanwhile, the other members, Timajo, Braña, and Cruzin are top local players in the PH and won several events in the past years.
The countries that will clash with team PH are Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cyprus, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, New Zealand, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
