A teenage boy who was charged for rape was arrested morning of Sept. 29, 2019 at Pototan, Iloilo.
Jay Ending, 18, was collared at their home in Bafangay Lumbo, Pototan.
Members of Pototan Police Station, Iloilo Police Provincial Office – Special Operations Group (IPPO-SOG), and Regional Maritime Unit 6 arrested the suspect by virtue of an arrest warrant for rape by carnal knowledge under Art. 266-A paragraph 1, in relation to Art. 266-b of the Revised Penal Code as amended by RA 8353 (The Anti-Rape Law of 1997).
The case is docketed as Criminal Case No. 18-8969.
No bail was set for his temporary liberty.
Reports indicated that the suspect was a minor when the case was filed.
Initial information claimed that the suspect allegedly took sexual advantage of their neighbor’s daughter.
Meanwhile, another man was also arrested for rape in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Reynaldo Teodocio was arrested afternoon of Sept. 28, 2018 at Barangay 20, Victorias City. He was charged for rape in Criminal Case No. 12008-40.
No bail was set for his temporary freedom.
