THE excitement is higher than ever for the return of GMA Network’s original musical competition, The Clash, and it opens up with a bang this season as it introduces a new set of hosts.

Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose and Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz are all set to amplify the fun onstage as The Clash Masters, while the well-loved tandem of Rita Daniela and Ken Chan will give viewers an all-access pass throughout the contestants’ journey as The Clash Journey Hosts.

Julie Anne expressed her excitement on being a Clash Master, “This year is definitely bigger and more exciting. Filipinos from different parts of the world auditioned to be a part the competition. I am excited to meet the new batch of clashers who I’m sure are more than ready to impress not only the judges but all our viewers as well.”

“It’s always inspiring to watch people strive to reach their dreams,” shared Rayver. “I hear that there are very talented Clashers. I expect the competition to be tougher, with a lot of surprises and twists in the show, so look forward to that.”

Rita, on the other hand, looks forward to meeting the new batch of Clashers, “Ken and I have a fun job as Journey Hosts because we get to talk to the contestants and let viewers in on some behind-the-scene exclusives. I’m very excited.”

Likewise, Ken is ready to give viewers an inside look into the lives of the Clashers, “Aside from their talent, I’m sure that this new pool of contestants from all around the country and the world have inspiring stories to share with all our Kapuso viewers.”

Returning as The Clash judges are Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas will once again lead the search for the next singing sensation.

Catch the world premiere of The Clash this September 21 on GMA-7.
