Three brothers were arrested for allegedly conspiring to sell illegal drugs evening of June 9, 2019 in Jaro, Iloilo City.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 3 collared Sydney Alentaje, 25; Jan Raymund, 31; and Reymundo Alentaje Jr., 22, all are residents of Barangay Sambag, Jaro.
Police Captain Eduardo Siacon Jr., Jaro police chief, said Sydney and Jan Raymund are the subjects of the operation.
The eldest Alentaje handed the suspected shabu to the police poseur-buyer while Sydney received the marked money.
The suspects allegedly yielded three sachets of suspected shabu and the P5,100 buy-bust money.
Siacon said all suspects are newly-identified drug personalities as they were never listed by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC).
The three brothers are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
