Three health workers contract COVID-19

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three health workers and four other individuals were added to the list of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases here.

Based on an official statement, Roxas City Mayor Dadivas confirmed the new cases Friday afternoon:

Case #118: a 27-year-old female health worker and resident of Brgy. Tiza, Roxas City and working at Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH);

Case #119: a 48-year-old male health worker of RMPH and resident of Brgy. Tanque, Roxas City;

Case #120: a 50-year-old male health worker of RMPH and resident of Milibili Urban, Roxas City;

Case #121: a 51-year-old female of Brgy. Gabuan with close contact to a COVID-19 case;

Case #122: a 34-year-old female and resident of Brgy. Lanot, Roxas City with close contact to an infected health worker;

Case #123: a 16-year-old female of Brgy. Baybay, Roxas City with close contact to a COVID-19 case;

Case #124: a 35-year-old female and researcher of Malipayon Village, Brgy. Tiza, Roxas City with close contact to a positive case;

Dadivas said the city also logged three recoveries.

At present, Roxas City has 124 COVID positive with 39 active cases, 73 recoveries, and 12 deaths.
