Killed in the accident were Randy Petallar, 35, of Barangay Alegria, a security guard; and Ronald Dela Cruz, 20, of Barangay Sta. Cruz.

Police Lieutenant Frankie Paciente, deputy police chief of Murcia Municipal Police Station, said the collision happened while Petallar was driving his motorcycle to work. Dela Cruz, on the other hand, was on another motorcycle driven by Jomar Arnais.
