BACOLOD City – A total of 103 police recruits started their Field Training Program (FTP) on Traffic, Investigation and Patrol phase here.
The 14 female and 89 male trainees arrived at the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on July 9, 2021.
They were distributed to 10 police stations for their six-month training under the supervision of the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (RPHAU).
Police Colonel Manuel Placido, BCPO director, reminded the police recruits to always perform their job well, respect the most vulnerable members of the society, and give more service to the less and the needy.
Placido also encouraged them to be a good role model and give their respective uniform the highest respect.
On the same day, Police Lieutenant Colonel Edcille Canals, director of Regional Training Center (RTC)-6 paid a courtesy call to Placido at the BCPO headquarters.
Canals, who was installed as the new training director, vowed that he will continue to teach and mentor police officers, especially recruits.
Placido, meanwhile, assured the RTC-6 of the BCPO’s full support for the police trainees.
