The Iloilo City Government, in collaboration with Megaworld Iloilo Business Park, will celebrate the 10th Iloilo Bike Festival from July 20 to 28. The event will bring together thousands of cycling enthusiasts from across the country for a week of activities.
This year’s theme, “Cycle for Change: Celebrating 10 Years of Cycling Culture,” highlights a decade of promoting a cycling-friendly environment in the city.
The festival will feature various events aimed at fostering road sharing, safety, and an active lifestyle among residents and visitors.
The official event schedule, released by the Iloilo Bike Festival, includes:
June 5
Bilang Siklista: A bicycle count initiative in partnership with Mobility Awards and Iloilo Folding Bike Riders to gather data on bike lane usage and sidewalk improvements.
June 9 and every succeeding Sunday
Car-Free Day: Temporary road closures at Megaworld Boulevard to encourage walking, jogging, and cycling.
June 22
CineSiklista: A social media reel competition promoting bicycle use and raising awareness about the festival.
June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21
Spin Tutors: Bike Clinic: Tutorials on riding, repairing, and maintaining bicycles at Iloilo Business Park.
July 15-28
Cyclopedia: An exhibit of various bicycle types at Festive Walk Mall.
July 20
Cycle for Change: The opening program at Festive Walk Mall with awards and recognitions.
AMBitious Bike Race: A cycling event exploring travel spots and heritage sites.
Geers and Beers: Bikers Tambayan: A showcase of bike gear and club memberships.
Pedal Party: Bikers Fellowship Night: A gathering of bike organizations to showcase their interests and advocacy.
Bike Food Crawl: A curated food tour using bicycles.
Pedal Projection: A public showcase of bike reel-entry videos.
Kiddie Race: A fun bike race for kids at Iloilo Business Park.
July 21
Tour de Iloilo: A 200+ kilometer bicycle race around Iloilo province.
Bisik-Litera Tour: A fun ride with stops for live readings of local literature.
July 25-28
Hot Wheels Bike Expo: A display and sale of the latest bicycles, equipment, and apparel at Iloilo Convention Center.
July 26
Bike Buddies: A meet-and-greet event at Festive Walk Mall featuring bike influencers and local clubs.
Shift Happens: A bike forum on active mobility and sustainable transportation.
Spokesperson Night: A night of recognition for local bicycle awardees and sponsors.
July 27-28
Mega Criterium Race: A closed-circuit race for mountain and road bikes.
BMX—Bikes and Music Xperience: A music festival featuring performances by local artists.

Puni Siklesta – Porma Siklesta: A bicycle set-up and costume contest.
Pedal Power: Grand Fun Ride: A critical mass ride open to all cyclists.
Pedal Pride: Guinness World Record Attempt: An attempt to form the largest human image of a bicycle.

Push Bike Race: A race for children aged 2-6 at Iloilo Business Park.
Drag Sprint: A short sprint race for various bike types at Marriott Grounds.

Since its inception in 2014, the Iloilo Bike Festival has promoted cycling best practices, positioning Iloilo as the bike capital of the Philippines.
The annual event also supports the city’s goal of becoming a top sports destination and a more bike- and walk-friendly metropolis.
