The awarding rites held at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) headquarters here was led by Police Brigadier General Remus Zacharias Canieso, deputy regional director for administration of Police Regional Office (PRO)-6, who represented Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, PRO-6 regional director.
Canieso was joined by Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, Nocppo director; Police Colonel Henry Biñas, director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO); Police Lieutenant Colonel Gilbert Gorero, officer-in-charge of the Regional Police Strategy Management Division (RPSMD)– 6; and members of the Provincial Advisory Council for Police Transformation and Development.
Police chiefs from police stations in the cities of Sipalay, Silay, Bago, and Himamaylan, and towns of Hinoba-an, Ilog, Pontevedra, and station commanders from Police Stations 1, 6, 7, and 8 here received the Silver Eagle trophy.
Sipalay City Police Station (CPS) topped 30 other police stations in the province, with a rating of 94.65 percent, followed by Hinoba-an Municipal Police Station (MPS), with 93.66 percent, Ilog MPS with 93.66, Pontevedra MPS with 91.55, Bago CPS with 91.51, Silay CPS with 91.29, and Himamaylaan CPS with 90.62.

The 24 other police stations in the province and six police stations here were also conferred with plaques for passing the PGS compliance.
The basis of the award and conferment is the strategy readiness test, the auditing, and revalida.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Jay Geneblaza, assistant chief strategy review section of Provincial Police Strategy Management Unit (PPSMU), said police chiefs are tested to determine if they understand the program of Patrol Plan 2030 of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Then all the necessary documents submitted by police chiefs are reviewed and audited by the regional headquarters.
In his message which was read by Canieso, Pamuspusan emphasized that police transformation is not only possible but in fact inevitable.
“With these transformation efforts, we will finish strong.”
